Pros and cons of welded pipes

- Large-diameter pipeline installation is possible. For example, for an oil or gas pipeline – it is almost impossible to do this using seamless structures.
- Large selection of pipes. So, welded pipes can be not only round, but also square or rectangular.

- Welded pipes are not made from all types of steel, as they should be well weldable. Because of this, welded structures have less resistance to corrosion. However, the third drawback is easily eliminated by painting or galvanizing the pipes.
